WHAT YOU WILL PRACTICE
Write a clear value proposition grounded in a customer outcome and evidence.
Describe the outcome
Tell a specific person what useful change they can achieve. Features explain how; outcomes explain why it matters. Keep claims modest enough to support with evidence.
Name the real alternative
A customer may already use a spreadsheet, colleague or competing product. Explain a meaningful difference for their situation, including tradeoffs. Avoid claiming you are best for everyone.
Choose one next action
A first message should make the next step clear: view a sample, try a workflow or discuss a pilot. Match the commitment to the person’s current trust and understanding.
IN PRACTICE · ORIGINAL EXAMPLE
“A weekly invoice-checking service for independent bookkeepers. See missing fields before the client report goes out. Review a sample report.” This is more concrete than “Revolutionary AI-powered productivity for modern business.”
Avoid guarantees, fabricated testimonials and performance numbers you have not measured.
