WHAT YOU WILL PRACTICE
Design a small acquisition experiment with a meaningful conversion event.
Match the channel to behaviour
Search can work when people actively look for a solution. Communities can help when trust and shared experience matter. Direct outreach can be useful when you can identify a small, relevant buyer group and contact them appropriately.
Measure a useful action
Define success as a relevant person taking a step toward value: booking a pilot, completing a useful task or returning. Reach, clicks and likes are earlier signals. They are not interchangeable with customers.
Keep the experiment interpretable
Specify the audience, message, channel, timebox and cost. Keep most things stable while changing one factor. Small samples can guide another experiment but rarely prove a universal channel strategy.
IN PRACTICE · ORIGINAL EXAMPLE
Share one genuinely useful report-checking template in a relevant group where it is allowed. Invite readers to view a sample service. Record qualified visits and pilot bookings over a week, plus time spent producing and sharing it.
Do not compare two channels without considering audience quality, message differences and the amount of effort spent.
